My Dynamite – “If We’re Livin'” [Song Stream] [Exclusive World Premiere]
Australia’s My Dynamite takes its inspirations from some pretty exclusive company of all-time greats. Drawing from the likes of Led Zeppelin, The Faces, Humble Pie and the Black Crowes, My Dynamite is doing its best to make sure that the all-time greats are not forgotten by turning their inspiration into a contemporary and irresistible sound. Rest assured, these guys are most interested in getting the party started, especially in their rowdy live gigs. The group started when lead vocalist Pat Carmody joined a band that bassist Travis Fraser and drummer Simon Aarons were already in. These guys aren’t only about classic rock though as they try to merge other influences such as blues and soul into their blended, unique sound.

Lyrically and musically, My Dynamite tries to create songs that expresses what is going on in their personal lives directly. This resonates well with listeners, as the group tries to appeal to what is actually going on in the lives of everyday youth. The band recently released an EP and to celebrate it, packed the house at the legendary St. Kilda venue The Esplanade Hotel.
