The emotional and captivating rhythms off Century’s first album, Black Ocean (besides their first two previous LP’s) keeps the listeners entertained and enthralled. Boasting many spontaneous beats and tunes, the record, much like a person’s emotions, is full of continuous ups and downs. No two songs sound alike and the lyrics are very abstract; allowing the listener to interpret the lyrics nay way they so desire. In my opinion, this only adds to the positive experience of hearing Century’s wicked sound.
The more I listened to Black Ocean, the more I liked it: it really did grow on me quickly. Moreover, this genre of music is somewhat new to me, so listening to Century was a fantastic introduction. If someone’s looking to put some mix into their usual iPod lineup then this is am ideal record to add because it satisfies the craving for some intense Metal tunes. Also, Black Ocean is good for times when a person has to release some inner rage! [ END ]
