I am going to cut right to the chase. I am a huge fan of Bury Your Dead. I believe that they are one of the best hardcore bands that I have EVER had the pleasure of hearing. The vocals are rough, yet easy to understand, the guitar riffs are intricate and well thought-out, the bass molds in easily with the rest of the music, and the drums are up-beat and entertaining. No… I am not biased!

The music from this self-titled album reminds me of a mixture of numerous extremely gifted band members and bands. The vocals are reminiscent of a Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour) and Tim Williams (Bloodsimple/Vision Of Disorder) mash-up. The guitar riffs sound like something that Sepultra would happily confiscate and use for themselves while the quick drumming is similar to what you would hear from Chris Adler (Lamb Of God). Put all of this together… and you get Bury Your Dead… one damn good band.

I am quite pleased with the effort put forth by these gentlemen. I would have to say it is my favourite to date, no guff! I ask one favour of all of our readers… next time you have an accident please remember to Bury Your Fucking Dead.
