With a great response to Rushing Through The Sky, Schoolcraft has decided to record a cover of the smash hit “Change (In The House Of Flies)” from the behemoth Deftones. Take a listen and download the track below.
Rushing Through The Sky is the journey every mourning woman goes through during the darkest times of her life: “Each song is a chapter of some feat I’ve confronted.” While it also plays on fantasy and has a romantic vibe, it is still very realistic and lyrically organic. It is also a tribute to those who feel forlorn and misunderstood: “I’m a really dramatic person in my mind and heart. This can sometimes be a good or a bad thing, but I know there are others out there like that too.”
Deuce’s music video for his new song, “Let’s Get It Crackin'” encompasses all the craziness that can happen within a motel from topless strippers in Halloween masks to a female fight club, all ending in bloodshed. Filmed at Pink Hotel in Los Angeles, directed by Nathan Cox (Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park, Black Veil Brides).
I had the privilege of speaking with Steven Wilson on his “Grace For Drowning Tour” recently. We canvassed musical ideas, what the tour and solo album meant for him, Storm Corrosion (a project with Opeth’s Mikael Akerfeldt), and so much more. Enjoy!

AWOLNATION, new indie/alternative rock band or someone’s high school nickname? Actually both. AWOLNATION is the brand new band/solo project of Aaron Bruno, formerly of the bands Under the Influence of Giants and Hometown Hero. The band’s debut solo record Megalithic Symphony was released back in March and so far has received a lot of recognition, largely thanks to the record’s first single “Sail.”
