Californian Pop Punk Trio A PAGE UNTURNED Unwrap Their New “Reflection” Single [Exclusive Premiere]
Los Angeles, California-based three-piece pop punk group, A Page Unturned, are stoked to unveil their brand new single, the hooky, upbeat ditty, “Reflection”!
Together, Damon Porras (vocals, bass), Yoshihiro Imae (guitar, keys), and Ryan Sebold (drums), combine their musical abilities and go by the name A Page Unturned. The Los Angeles, California-based three-piece pop punk group formed as recently as 2017 and quickly begun writing tunes which resulted in the summer 2018 release of their debut self-titled EP (find a copy right here).
Now, following the recent release of their new single “The Hangover”, the guys are back with another new tune, the hooky, upbeat ditty, “Reflection.” The two tracks are part of a run of singles to be released over the coming months and display the guys’ quick songwriting maturation.
Time to face yourself and see if your “Reflection” responds.
Stream the tune above, of which Damon commented for us:
“The song is about feeling regret and struggling to accept yourself after mistakes you’ve made. The lyric in the song, ‘I can see my own reflection but it doesn’t stare back at me’, I imagined ‘the reflection’ of yourself, (the inner self or soul), is ashamed of who you are and it can’t look back at you. The song tackles a dark conflict that we all sometimes feel and is very honest. It’s our most experimental song to date and is reminiscent of the Blink 182 ‘Untitled’ album.”
Stream this tune as well… because you’ll need more music when dealing with “The Hangover.”
