Black Peaks @ Key Club (Leeds, UK) on October 16, 2018 [Photos]
Brighton rock band Black Peaks visited Leeds recently during their current UK headline tour in support of new album, All That Divides. Check out the review and photos here.
The Brighton rock scene has produced some great bands over the years and, with Architects heading up the ladder to massive things, it’s great to see that there are bands like Black Peaks waiting in the wings to make sure the underground scene is kept healthy.
Supporting their recently released new album All That Divides, there is a more than healthy turnout in Leeds where the band are making their latest stop on their current headline run. Following support sets by Gold Key and BossK, the band hit the stage and power through tracks from the album, like opener “Can’t Sleep” and recent single “Electric Fires” to a heroes welcome from the crowd. It’s an energtic, brash performance from the band matched by the kind of response from a crowd who are very much in the mood for a bit of Brighton rock tonight.
Despite the album having only dropped recently, these fans have obviously quickly taken it to their hearts and, as they head out into the night, hopefully they’ll realise how lucky they are to catch a band who are surely destined for much bigger things in such an intimate environment.
