Robert Plant (w/ Sheryl Crow, Seth Lakeman) @ Budweiser Stage (Toronto, ON) on June 15, 2018 [Photos & Review]
Can you think of a better way to spend a Friday night in Toronto than by hitting Budweiser Stage and rocking out with Robert Plant, Sheryl Crow and opener, Seth Lakeman?
Can you think of a better way to spend a Friday night in Toronto than by rocking out with Robert Plant and Sheryl Crow? Budweiser Stage was the setting, the sun was shining, and English folk-rocker Seth Lakeman played multiple instruments during his set to start the night’s festivities.
Next up was American country rocker Sheryl Crow who literally played hit after hit. She sounded and looked amazing, playing a really upbeat and amazing set. After a short intermission, the maestro himself, Mr. Robert Plant took the stage along with his band The Sensational Spaceshifters. Starting off right away with an old Zeppelin tune, “The Lemon Song”, it was enough to get the crowd out of their seats and dancing.
Plant played an awesome set mixed with new music as well as some older songs and, to everyone’s delight, a few Led Zeppelin tracks. During his encore he also got Sheryl Crow back on stage and they sang “Rock and Roll” together. One of those awesome Friday night concerts in the summer that just leaves you with a smile.
