It was a quiet evening in Derry, New Hampshire on September 15, 2017, UNTIL the legendary Lita Ford and her band hit the stage at Tupelo Music Hall. Donning her Stoli Vodka guitar with a long flowy white scarf tied to the end of it, wearing black custom leather pants with hints of green leather, leopard, and black widow hourglass patches, along with a matching green and black leather jacket.
Her beautiful long blonde hair framing her smiling face as she greets the crowd and tears into the first song “Gotta Let Go.” HELL YEAH! Just what the crowd was waiting for! She talked to everyone throughout the show about so many things: her book Living Like A Runaway: A Memoir, life on the road, her mom, and much much more. The “Queen of Metal” in our face, launching into one kickass song after another in between stories. If you weren’t having a good time at this show, there’s something wrong with your ass…….XD
Along with Patrick Kennison on guitar, Marty O’Brien on bass, Bobby Rock on drums, and a very special guest on guitar and vocals throughout the evening, Mr. Gary Hoey. Gary co-wrote a few songs on Lita’s album Living Like a Runaway in 2012, and toured with her in support of that album as well. Lita is also working on and recording a new album in New Hampshire as we speak.
Cranking out one hit after another, Lita and the boys put on a ROCKIN show! You couldn’t help but sing along the whole time – no matter who you were! (I know I did!!!) If Lita is playing in a town near you, go ROCK OUT with HER! \m/\m/
