Touché Amoré joined Hum for a special East Coast show held at Terminal 5 on September 8th, where Basement opened. Touché played two songs off of their upcoming release Stage Four (due out today, September 16th), letting the crowd hear “Rapture” for the first time, before it surfaced online earlier this week, as well as a mix of songs from Is Survived By and Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me.
Frontman Jeremy Bolm thanked the older crowd for putting up with Touché yelling at them and expressed how grateful he and his bandmates were to be able to play a show with Hum, a band so influential to their sound. He asked the younger crowd, who were mainly there for Touché and Basement, to stick around and give Hum a chance. Their set was energetic and loud, and a lot of the older crowd seemed to enjoy them as well.
You can catch Touché when they join Hum to play a second show together in Pomona, California on September 24, where they will be accompanied by Philadelphia’s Balance and Composure (who also have a new record on the way). Otherwise, the band will be on tour again in the states in October with Tiny Moving Parts–full dates for that tour are below!
