New York melodic metal/hardcore quintet, Hollow Bones, has launched a brand new track, “Altruistic Lung,” taken from the band’s upcoming debut album Lionheart. Stream the third song to surface from the May 27 release via YouTube just above.
“‘Altruistic Lung’ is one of the more raw songs on the album, thematically, and musically the most ambient,” vocalist Patrick Anthony told Revolver Magazine. “It deals with self-hatred, and the anxieties that those feelings can create when falling in love. We hope that the emotions we meant to convey come across adequately, and we hope that people are able to connect with the song. Fight for the people you love, and hold onto them the best that you can.”
