We are super excited to be offering a free download of experimental metal act, Septa’s, song “Destroyer, Pt. 1.” The band is a four-piece from Odessa, Ukraine founded by Eugene Tymchyk and Alexander Kostuchenko that may be of interest to fans of Deftones, Tool, and Norma Jean. They often describes themselves simply as “alternative rock,” but their sound extends to elements of post-hardcore, noise rock, and even trip-hop.
Septa’s latest release is Destroyer, the follow-up to last year’s debut album The Lover. The seven track record goes way beyond simple genres, helped by the work of industry legend Matt Bayles (Botch, Isis, Mastodon, etc) who took care of mixing and mastering done by Chris Commons (ex-These Arms Are Snakes). This is a band not afraid to experiment with their sound, a factor that makes Septa one of the most exciting up and coming bands today.
