Earlier this month, The Dismemberment Plan released “Waiting,” the first track off of Uncanney Valley. Instead of sharing the song by tried-and-true music industry means, the band encouraged fans to call “252-64-DPLAN” to hear the song – both an innovative and retro concept that echoes the creative and fearless spirit of the band. Beginning today, fans are encouraged to call into the same phone number and leave a voicemail with their favorite Dismemberment Plan memory, for a chance to win a pair of tickets to a show on the upcoming tour.
