Album Review
Motörhead – “The Wörld Is Ours – Vol 2: Anyplace Crazy As Anywhere Else” [Live]
Hot on the heels of 2011’s The Wörld Is Ours – Vol 1: Everything Further Than Everyplace live album, comes the second installment titled The Wörld Is Ours – Vol 2: Anyplace Crazy, As Anywhere Else. As with volume 1, this volume is a mammoth 2 disc package complete with an accompanying DVD.
Containing live 2011 performances by the band in Wacken, Sonisphere UK, and Rock In Rio in Brazil, this album is a beast clocking in at over 2 hours long. Performance-wise there is really nothing to find fault with here as Lemmy and co sound in top form, blasting through both their classics and newer material flawlessly.
While there is really nothing essential for those who already own Vol 1, Anyplace Crazy As Anywhere Else is still a damn good live album offering two hours of excellent material. With the additional DVD thrown in for good measure, the release is a great deal overall and a recommended purchase.
