Album Review
Bong – “Mana-Yood-Sushai”
As someone who does not partake in, nor condone the partaking of drugs in any way, shape or form, I expected to hate Bong’s Mana-Yood-Sushai. When I saw that the track listing was only two songs and still ran 19 to 28 fricking minutes long respectively, I thought I would be tearing my hair out by the time the album was over.

The beginning of the first track “Trees, Grass and Stones” didn’t do much to convince me that the album wasn’t going to suck as it seemed like a big long drone. But, a few more minutes passed and the music started to seem, dreamy, pleasant and relaxing. After a while I felt myself lost in the music and the rest of the album seemed to sail past. Who needs mind altering substances when you can get lost in trippy music like Mana-Yood-Sushai?
