Proxy – “Music From the Eastblock Jungles” Out February 11 via Dim Mak Records
“Music From the Eastblock Jungles” is a two-part series, a rare feat in today’s singles-driven electronic music market, released in North America on Dim Mak and on Turbo Recordings internationally. “Music From the Eastblock Jungles” PART II is out February 11, 2013, while “Music From the Eastblock Jungles” PART I is available now.
On “Music From the Eastblock Jungles”, Proxy delivers the banging, hard electro sound reminiscent of Boys Noize and Wolfgang Gartner yet notably inflected by classic bass and drum ‘n’ bass ethos and heavily influenced by The Prodigy. Proxy has created a work that harnesses the spirit of pure electronic music culture and showcases the prolific underground dance floor-czar’s wide-spanning body of work. Years in the making, the “Music From the Eastblock Jungles” series features a massive stockpile of new material with over 20 combined tracks that span and elevate countless genres without regard for trends or ephemeral influences.
