Joel Plaskett Announces Spring 2020 Tour; Confirms New Music is Coming
Nova Scotian singer-songwriter Joel Plaskett has revealed a fairly extensive spring 2020 tour which will see the artist performing across Canada from mid-April until the end of May. The bonus is that these dates will also see Plaskett supporting new music; material that’s said to be in its final stages and should see the light of day in April 2020. Tickets will be on sale as of Friday, November 15th and can be purchased here.
The new album is said to include songs recorded with The Emergency (Dave Marsh and Chris Pennell) and with some of Plaskett’s musical friends from Halifax, Memphis, Nashville and Toronto. There are, of course, also tracks featuring just Plaskett. Either way, whatever he releases in the new year, it’s certain to be new, unexpected, and teeming with experimentation.
