Ashton Nyte Releases Second Single & Video “Cinnamon” off Upcoming Album
Ashton Nyte unveils his new single, “Cinnamon,” alongside the accompanying music video. The song is off his upcoming LP.
Ashton Nyte has announced that he is releasing his new single, “Cinnamon,” on July 6th, 2023. This news comes on the heels of his recent release of the record’s first single and video, “Something Beautiful.” Now, Nyte is sharing a new cut off of the upcoming LP alongside another accompanying music video.
Of the new single, Nyte writes:
“‘Cinnamon’ is an ode to hope in the face of adversity. In this instance, clinging to the promise of something that once was while navigating various shades of depression and self-doubt. I think it’s a song about coping. About doing what we need to do, to get through.”
The South African-born, U.S.-based singer-songwriter, producer, and composer, known primarily for his work with South African alternative band The Awakening, in addition to his lyrical contributions to projects featuring members of The Cure, Cheap Trick, Peter Murphy, The Mission, and Beauty In Chaos — recently announced his forthcoming eighth album, Autumn’s Children, due for release on August 25, 2023.
The 11-track Autumn’s Children will also be accompanied by a book of short stories, poetry, and musings, expanding on the themes of the album. Fans can now pre-order the book, vinyl, CD, and a selection of limited-edition items on the artist’s official site.
