Guided By Voices Share ‘Strut Of Kings’ LP

Guided By Voices’ highly anticipated album Strut of Kings is out today via GBV Inc. Guided By Voices is touring across the U.S. this summer, with many dates already sold out; tickets and information can be found here.

About a month ago, Bose Speakers hosted a listening party for the Guided By Voices album at the weird and wonderful Hero NYC space underneath the Rockefeller Center ice rink.

Band members Mark Shue, Kevin March, Doug Gillard and producer Travis Harrison swigged Miller Lite with lucky fans and assorted VIPs while listening to “the kings of lo-fi” on an extremely high-fidelity sound system.

Building on 40 years of GBV history, the triumphant Strut of Kings is the 40th album by the indie rock royalty and the only new Guided By Voices album in 2024. The record includes some of GBV’s hookiest nuggets in recent memory.
