Congolese guitarist and singer-songwriter Marius Billgobenson releases his new single, “A Little Bit of Honey,” a deliciously smooth song recorded in Los Angeles with double Grammy-winning producer Paul Brown.

Beautifully wrought, “A Little Bit of Honey” expresses the transformative power of love, luring listeners into a warm, affectionate world where the joie de vivre is captured on a gorgeously flowing melody and eloquent lyrics.

Along with help from editor Jaqui Brown, “A Little Bit of Honey” features the talents of David Garfield, Ron King, Tony Braunadel, Shane Theriot, and Freddie Washington.

“A Little Bit of Honey” opens with sparkling, creamy tones and soft vocal harmonies. When Billgobenson’s silky vocals enter, the song takes on a luscious, rounded shape, oh-so-alluring. Flavors of soul, R&B, and gospel flow through the harmonics, along with traces of reggae. For some reason, Billgobenson’s voice recalls Otis Redding. Although their voices are distinct, there’s an emotional depth, a tenderness, common to both.
