Climax Landers, Brooklyn’s freakiest and friendliest users of the love-rock future sounds, return to turntables worldwide this Friday, May 10th, with their third LP, their first in six years: Zenith No Effects.

This ultimate expression of friendship and spiritual peacekeeping reunites members of Palberta, The Cradle, Old Table, Sweet Baby Jesus, Thanks for coming, and many more. They’re a rock band made strangely, indebted to the melodic joy of Guided By Voices and Pavement and the wild power of Captain Beefheart and Ornette Coleman. Is this the dream-reality of Tom Verlaine joining The Roches for psychedelic beauty harmony? Hear for yourself!

The band is going on tour with its songs of unity address and communal freedom.

Tour Dates:

May 10 – Hadley, MA @ Abestos Farm
May 11 – Providence, RI @ house show
May 14 – Brooklyn, NY @ Union Pool*record release show*
May 18 – Washington, D.C. @ Cool Ranch
May 19 – Philadelphia, PA @ Abyssinia

On the eve of the site’s 15th anniversary, a full re-launch and rebrand takes us back to our roots and opens the door to a full suite of Music, Film, TV, and Cultural content.
