Feeder Dish Up A Feast of Hits and New Songs at Manchester Albert Hall [Photos]
Feeder wheel out their big hits along with a few new album tasters at the Manchester Albert Hall. Check out the photos here…

Seeing that British rockers Feeder are heading out on tour again almost feels like a yearly occurance now such is the regularity with which the rock favourites appear in local gig listings.
2024 is no different either as it sees the band racking up the miles on a lengthy UK tour supporting the upcoming release of their twelfth album Black/Red.
Supporting the band on this jaunt is Nottingham’s own alt-rock trio Girlband! who are beginning to make a mark on the UK rock circuit. Inspired by everyone from Elvis to Jake Bugg, the three-piece promised to step it up in 2024 and they’re off to a flying start. Expect big things from the Nottingham trio this year.
As for Feeder, the packed out rooms on this tour pay testament to how much an integral part of the UK scene the rockers are. The longtime partnership of Grant Nicholas and Taka Hirose shows no signs of slowing down or heading into their third decade gracefully.
Furthermore, a quick scan down the set list shows a band who have the big hits but, far from taking the easy option and just rattling them off, still have the confidence and quality in their new material to mix up the set. The fact that they’re opening their set with “ELF” one of a number of yet-to-be-released tracks from the upcoming Black/Red album, confirms this.
That being said, alongside new tracks like “ELF”, “Hey You” and “Insomnia”, the hits like “Just The Way I’m Feeling”, “Buck Rogers” and “Just A Day” still rock a room as hard as they always do. We sent our photographer Katie Probert along to capture the band and support act, Nottingham alt-rock trio Girlband! at a packed Manchester Albert Hall.
