Engelbert Humperdinck to Perform “The Last Waltz” Farewell Tour
British musical legend Engelbert Humperdinck confirms he will perform “The Last Waltz’ Farewell Tour” visiting four prestigious UK venues.
The British musical legend Engelbert Humperdinck has announced that he will perform “The Last Waltz’ Farewell Tour” which will visit four prestigious venues in the UK in September 2024. Tickets for these unmissable events are on sale from 10 am on Friday 2nd February 2024, right here.
His is a truly illustrious career that began under the stage name Gerry Dorsey in the ’50s but exploded internationally when he became known as Engelbert Humperdinck in 1965. Enjoying rapid success, he went on to top the charts for the first time in 1967, and he never looked back.
Engelbert says of the tour:
“I am so incredibly happy to let you know that AEG & Primary Talent International have announced that my new UK tour for September is set starting with the fabulous Palladium. Looking forward to seeing everyone and remember… I LOVE YOU!”
Engelbert has sold over 150 million records worldwide, received four Grammy nominations, a Golden Globe for Entertainer of the Year, 63 gold and 24 platinum records and is one of only a handful of artists with a star on both the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Las Vegas Walk of Fame. To this day, Engelbert has remained a global star, and he was appointed an MBE in 2021 Birthday Honours List.
Engelbert is best known, of course, for mega-hit “Release Me [And Let Me Love Again],” which was a No. 1 in the UK but also a huge hit in the US. This charismatic performer has enjoyed eight huge UK Top Ten hits, including, of course, “The Last Waltz” itself, as well as “There Goes My Everything,” “Am I That Easy To Forget,” “A Man Without Love (Quando M’Innamoro),” “Les Bicyclettes de Belsize” and “The Way It Used To Be”
“The Last Waltz’ Farewell Tour” 2024 Dates:
Sunday 8 September – London, Palladium
Monday 9 September – Manchester, Opera House
Tuesday 10 September – Birmingham, Symphony Hall
Thursday 12 September – Glasgow, Royal Concert Hall
