After making their mark last year, VENUS GRRRLS are looking to become the next big name in UK rock starting with their unforgiving new single “Divine” – recorded by Sugar House and mixed/mastered by Grammy-nominated Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Nova Twins).

The new single from the Leeds outfit arrives with a music video shot by their trusted collaborator Misha Warren which you can check out here.

Giving more insight into the track, lead singer GK says:

““Divine” is the female gaze; the unsaid, but the known. It narrates the earlier stages of a relationship which is shrouded in mystery, making for an addictive and all consuming sentimentality.”

Before they support hotly-tipped Sprints on their SOLD-OUT UK Headline Tour in April, the band will headline a hometown show at Leeds Brudenell in February before a hectic Summer which will see the band perform at Liverpool Sound City, Y Not, Kendal Calling and Stockton Calling with more festivals to be announced this summer.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
