Eunith Embarks on Rhythmic Journey in “Gifts” Music Video Directed by Keaton Punch
Indie EDM artist Eunith and whimsy director Keaton Punch take the viewer on a rhythmic journey in latest ”Gifts” music video!
Eunith, synthpop artist, and director Keaton Punch have teamed up for their eighth music video production together for the single “Gifts!” Eunith does not need his audience to make deep connections to his music; as long as they catch “the vibe,” he is content. Keaton Punch is a director known for pushing himself to create content that engages the audience by bringing them into his own imaginative and whimsy creative universe.
Keaton Punch elaborates on the video concept:
“The music video for ‘Gifts’ brings the viewer along for a rhythm based journey, following Matthew driving through a surreal and treacherous dreamscape. My inspiration came from my late 2000s obsession with playing Rock Band 2.”
Eunith spends much time plotting and crafting his creative works; this is a project that goes back several years. Eunith explains, “I thought I’d never get around to writing lyrics for this song, then I found myself with no cell service on a train through the Andes mountains for two solid hours back in 2016. I had the instrumental demo on my phone, and it all just came in one big rush.” Lyrically the song is capitvating, the music video takes into account all parts of the song and places them in sync with visuals that will blow your mind.
When planning the shoot, Eunith recalls his internal mental state, “6 months ago, I couldn’t have imagined this video getting filmed in two nights. 6 weeks ago, I couldn’t have imagined a sports car being involved. 6 days ago, I saw the final cut, and now I can’t imagine it any other way.” He continues, “We don’t really decide to make a music video unless we’re challenging ourselves somehow.” Eunith and Keaton Punch are is dynamic duo when it comes to storytelling through audio and visual means.
Eunith is both excited and thankful:
“Yeah, the credits sorta contain a little audio sneak peek of the next song to come, but the most important part of those credits is every single name that comes after mine and Keaton’s. The crew made it possible (and hilarious along the way).”
The music video took place over the course of two evenings in December of 2023. A modest Punch, having everything down to a “T”, films the production in the driveway of his home. The end result is a stunningly high quality Hollywood ready video production for you to enjoy. The “Gifts” music video actually starts off where Eunith’s last single, “How You See Me” music video leaves off. If you were wondering whether the end of “Gifts” was the beginning of yet another music video, let us fill in the blanks for you; the answer is a resounding Yes! Keaton expresses his hope for all of his past and future productions with Eunith, “Each new production with Eunith is an opportunity for creative challenges, ambitious ideas, community collaboration, and priceless experiences.” Punch continues, “With the help of our friends, clever camera work, and careful planning, we were able to pull off a captivating effect that I’m excited to share with everyone.” Stay up to date on the latest with this artist HERE.
