Metalcore outfit VOIDS has unleashed their latest single and music video, “Captive,” which will be followed by a brand new EP this Fall.
Commenting on the song’s subject matter, bassist and vocalist Jason Williams shares:
“The single was written about past relationships, we have all been victims of domestic violence in one form or another, whether it was physically, mentally or emotionally so we wanted to learn from it and bring light to it. We felt males especially are afraid to speak up about it and we wanted to lean into that.”
VOIDS is a four-piece metalcore band based out of Hagerstown, Maryland. After a 6 year hiatus, VOIDS has decided to pick up where they left off after releasing their 2017 full-length, No Character, No Crown.
