Doll Riot Hits the Studio with Producer Alex Estrada
The all-girl punk rock outfit, Doll Riot, is set to hit the studio to begin recording their debut full-length album, with Alex Estrada.
San Diego, known as a hotbed for rock and punk legends such as Drive Like Jehu, Rocket From The Crypt, and No Knife, has been the home of the much-buzzed group Doll Riot. With already 60+ shows fully rocked over the past year, the all-girl punk rock outfit has dropped multiple singles and is set to hit the studio on August 7th to begin recording their debut full-length album.

The high-energy songwriters and longtime friends are in good hands, as producer Alex Estrada will be at the helm. As the girl’s journey to The Pale Moon Ranch, Doll Riot will craft a new album at the studio and with Alex Estrada, who is responsible for iconic albums from Touché Amore, Joyce Manor, Silver Snakes, and Rotting Out.
The expectations with Doll Riot are already exciting and highly anticipated, but this young group knows a thing or two about making high-quality, high-energy tracks. As the group has built their career in Northern San Diego, they have since played tour dates around the West Coast, even playing an official Punk Rock Bowling show recently. The new record will be on the heels of their 2022 Self-Titled EP and the 2023 single, “Those Days.”
