Today, hurt season (fka HRT SZN) returns with his latest release, “godsend,” alongside an accompanying music video starring Sydney Chandler (Don’t Worry Darling) and Lily Rosenthal. This new release marks a creative shift for the musician, seeing him move in a new, more artistic direction.
On the track’s video, director Sam De La Torre (of the band Liily) wrote:
“‘godsend’ brings out a new side of hurt season’s performance style, while also attempting to perform intimacy in an indirect way. We used shapes and color and movement to convey narrative in relationships.””
In the past few months, hurt season has shared a slew of standout singles, including: “darkstar,” “datreesh,” “worship,” and “int,” “feel sum’n,” “afraid to love,” and “hit.” Stay tuned for more from hurt season, coming soon.
