Mystic Stardrone releases new album ‘Daydreams & Hammers’
Multi-instrumentalists Brandon Myst and Cristhian Camilo form the band Mystic Stardrone. Based out of Utica, NY, the musical duo creates a brilliantly innovative sound that can hardly be contained in a single description. Their explorative approach to music shines brightly on their new album Daydreams & Hammers.
The album consists of twelve tracks that take you on a sonic carousel. It’s cinematic, stimulating, and thought-provoking. The listening journey goes from psychedelic and jazzy, to a more acoustic-driven rock feel, and back again.
Daydreams & Hammers explores the concept of having a dream about what you would like your life to be.
In their words, “Daydreams & Hammers explores the concept of having a dream about what you would like your life to be, daydreaming about said dream, and having that daydream crushed by the blows of reality. It also describes the music, as there are songs that are loud and chaotic, and songs that have a softer sound.”
Daydreams & Hammers is an album that speaks volumes from start to finish, and it’s worthy of your ears. Listen to the full album, now streaming everywhere.
