Hear Local Natives’ Acoustic Version of Their Single “Just Before The Morning”
Local Natives released an acoustic version of their swaggering and psychedelic track, “Just Before The Morning,”
This fall saw Local Natives release their new single, “Just Before The Morning,” a swaggering and psychedelic track that features a deep bass groove against their iconic SoCal harmonies. Recorded across Valentine Recording Studio, 64Sound and Sargent Recorders, a strong sense of Los Angeles pervades.
Today, they have shared an intimate acoustic performance of the single, which you can stream and share here.
The band says of the song:
“‘Just Before The Morning’ came from a burst of creativity after we finally reconnected in the studio. The song explores the cyclical nature of life and the many ways in which we begin again.”
With this sense of creative exploration front of mind, Local Natives announced a set of intimate performances at the Masonic Lodge @ Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on December 5, 6 and 7. These underplays sold out instantly and will feature new takes on classics, deep cuts, rare covers, and live experimentation with forthcoming tracks from the bands most prolific period to date
