Punk Duo Broken Baby Confirm New Album; Unveil Lead Single “Get the Piss Up”
Los Angeles-based punk duo, Broken Baby—consisting of guitarist Alex Dezen and vocalist Amber Bollinger—today announces their eleven-track sophomore album, Late Stage Optimism, and unveils the lead single and music video, “Get the Piss Up.”
Late Stage Optimism was mostly recorded at the band’s El Sereno, CA-based home during the pandemic.
According to a recent press release, “As a former actor, Bollinger is acutely aware of the way she internalized the shame of being commodified, as many women do. Broken Baby has become a kind of antidote to that shame.” She shares, “Ultimately, I just want you to see that I’m in front of you. If you like it that’s great, if you hate it, that’s also great. I want to be seen.”
