Blakk Mantra Announces Upcoming EP with Groovy New Single “Choose Your High”

Alternative rock duo Blakk Mantra released “Choose Your High,” the first single off their upcoming EP Choose Your High, on April 23. Johnny Noble and Amber Alexander make up Blakk Mantra, a musical pair from Denver, CO that creates groovy beats, fuzzed-out bass lines, and soulful vocals. They worked with 6x Grammy winner Vance Powell for the single – an experience that Blakk Mantra cherishes. “Working with Vance on these songs felt like dancing on the moon,” says Blakk Mantra. “Otherworldly kind of experience.”

The duo has been featured by industry tastemakers for their “utterly charming” work – from music releases to fun visuals like the music video for “Donna Juanita” that featured dancers from across the globe (Westword). “Choose Your High” is a winding road full of head nods and foot tapping. With clear rock and groove influences, the track is a perfect tease into what Blakk Mantra will be offering fans with Choose Your High the EP.
