That Brunette Joins Forces with Drag, Music, and Fashion Stars for Mermaids UK “Bubble Ball” Benefit Show
That Brunette (aka Madeline Mondrala) is playing a Zoom Livestream show, presented by 3 Dollar Bill, called Bubble Ball on August 29th at 6 PM EST. The event follows the release of her Millenium Fig EP on August 28 and will feature drag and music performances by That Brunette, Ryder Lickquor, LEXXE, and The Dragon Sisters.
Proceeds from the show will go to Mermaids UK, an organization that supports trans children and their families. “Bubble Ball is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and support trans youth and their families,” That Brunette said. “When children feel loved, understood and supported they are free to blossom into their authentic beautiful selves.”
In addition to ticket admissions, the Bubble Ball is collecting donations through a virtual raffle featuring prizes from We Are Fluide, Palu Costumes, and Christopher Palu New York. We Are Fluide is a non-binary makeup brand that promotes universal beauty and art. Christopher Palu (of Palu Costumes and Christopher Palu New York) is a Project Runway star and fashion icon. Fans can send a donation of their choice via Venmo to BUBBLEBALL2020 to be entered in the raffle.
Comments, That Brunette, “If we can help in a small way to remove some of the obstacles that trans kids face by supporting the work of Mermaids UK, all while enjoying performances from talented artists from the comfort of our living rooms, we all win!”
Admission to the live stream is $10 and can be purchased here.
