Orlando, Florida’s A Brilliant Lie continue to shine bright and their latest single, “The Tarot,” is a perfect example why. The hard-rocking, female-fronted fivesome are leveraging the pounding and emotive new tune to promote their upcoming EP Threads: Weaver, which was produced by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Paramore, Hands Like Houses). With more singles to be released, plus tour dates to be announced, we’re whetting fans’ aural appetites with a free high quality download of the above-mentioned single. WOOT!

The Threads: Weaver album is slated for a March 29th release and folks should bookmark the band’s website for news, updates and pre-ordering details. Now, before you download this free single like mad and hype it all over social media, this is what lead vocalist Tara Lightfoot had to say about the song:

“Life will always have its ups and downs. No one should ever have to feel like their dreams are crumbling into dust – whether it’s a relationship, a career, a personal goal, etc. Not living up to what you have in your head can be a war within itself. And…you might feel like garbage when it doesn’t come to fruition. But, while accountability is important (very important), no one deserves to feel useless. Ever. Because you’re not. We’re all fighting the good fight, and we’re in it together at the end of the day. ‘So we move on.‘”

Oh yeah, so you also know, the video for “Pieces” is wholly good.
