Review: Leslie Releases Debut Single

New artist, Michael Leslie Pollard (known simply as Leslie), came out of nowhere and immediately blew us away with his new single “Pennsylvania Plate”.
Soft guitar picking captures an emotional intensity from the very beginning, drawing the listener in to hear the first soft lyrics that are sung, “I used to think that I could love you enough to make me whole”. Written about a relationship that failed despite trying everything to make it work, Leslie translates the emotional heartbreak that comes with the realization that we can’t bank our happiness on a single person.

“I ended up realizing I had to ultimately find my hope and joy in something else. I believe it was God trying to get me to finally look at him ultimately.” – Michael Leslie Pollard

A song that walks the line between love and heartbreak, “Pennsylvania Plate” is one that will ignite a sentimental flame for every listener. Overall, you will definitely want to add this song to your playlist…. we sure did.
