Arkells (w/ July Talk, Mondo Cozmo) @ Budweiser Stage (Toronto, ON) on June 24, 2017 [Photos & Show Review]
Arkells headlined a recent TO show, and along with fellow Torontonians July Talk and American alt-rockers Mondo Cozmo, it was a long day of music, dancing in the aisles, and partying!
Sunny Toronto sky’s and a packed Budweiser Stage had more of a festival vibe, than just a concert. Tonight it was time for Hamilton rockers Arkells to headline a TO show, and along with fellow Torontonians July Talk and American alt-rockers Mondo Cozmo, it was a long day of music, dancing in the aisles, and partying!
The beverage stands had a constant line of people, mostly waiting to get beers, and the grounds were packed. The song that sticks out in my mind the most is when July Talk did a version of Motorhead‘s “The Ace Of Spades”, as giant shark balloons floated around the stage , along with people running around with giant flags.
