Austin, Texas-based alternative/indie rock group The Human Circuit are as psychedelic as they are groovy. The band recently confirmed that their newest offering, titled Electric City, is due out this summer and today we’re pleased to celebrate the news by offering the single “Greeves” as a free download.

The band simultaneously conjures up images of David Bowie and Arcade Fire thanks to their “mystic vibes,” duelling male/female vocals, and jazzy influences.

The band commented on the single as follows: “The creation of ‘Greeves’ was very natural… However… I picture its conception more like the birth of those babies from mothers that didn’t know they were pregnant until labor. I usually know when a song is brewing and boiling over. But this one just kind of, ‘popped out’.”
