Mastodon touched down in Toronto on May 3rd at Rebel with Eagles Of Death Metal and Russian Circles, delivering a two-hour set amidst an array of stunning lights and near perfect sound.
Mastodon touched down in Toronto on May 3rd at Rebel with Eagles Of Death Metal and Russian Circles. Mastodon delivered a two-hour set mixing in material from their new album Emperor of Sand with some of their deepest cuts (“Bladecatcher”!!!) amidst an array of stunning lights and near perfect sound.
Mastodon Guitarist Brent Hinds joined Eagles of Death Metal for “I Only Want You”, their first song off their blisteringly entertaining set. The lesser-known (but no less awesome) three-piece instrumental act Russian Circles certainly made a lasting impression on early attendees, many of whom could be heard talking at length about the epic thirty minutes of music they’d just witnessed after the band left the stage.
