Montreal-based band The Franklin Electric played the Mod Club Theatre in Toronto on Thursday night, along with Australian openers Woodlock. Toronto fans seemed to really enjoy this alt-folk-pop band as they were dancing along to tunes like “Save Yourself,” “Someone Just Like You,” and “Old Piano” with reckless abandon. While it was difficult (and disappointing) to see the bands through all the fog and blue light spilling across the stage, the overall ambience was wonderful.
