JOHN TRAVOLTAGE Return with Stream of Smooth New Song “Silkworm”
San Francisco’s rock band John Travoltage have returned with a new single titled “Silkworm”.
San Francisco’s rock band John Travoltage have returned with a new single titled “Silkworm”. The track was recorded at Different Fur Studios and according to the band, “explores new rhythm and timing structures while minding the dance floor head count still yet. The rowdy lyrics are distinctly set in some dark dance hall, where fist fights and drugs abound.”
Of the song lead singer Richie Tubman noted, “We wrote Silkworm looking back on some times that in hindsight could be labeled as excessive. It was fun but it sure wasn’t clean. We wrote a tune for that moment, not its memory. It always brings the house down.”
For those new to the group, the guys released their EP Done to Death in 2015 and now want to drop a bunch of singles as they build towards a full-length released in 2017.
