WATERPARKS Reveal New Track “Hawaii” from Debut Full-Length ‘Double Dare’
This weekend, Waterparks premiered their song “Hawaii (Stay Awake)” from the Houston, TX-based band’s debut full-length, Double Dare.
This weekend, Waterparks premiered their song “Hawaii (Stay Awake)” on Pete Wentz’s Hits & Misses show. The song, taken from the Houston, TX-based band’s debut full-length, Double Dare, which will be out on November 4 via Equal Vision Records, is also now available worldwide on all digital retailers.
“What’s special about ‘Hawaii (Stay Awake)’ is that it was the only song that was made before our last EP Cluster was even done,” reveals Waterparks vocalist Awsten Knight. “It was thiiiiis close to being track two on Cluster, instead of ‘Territory’. We loved both songs, so it was a tough choice, but we thought that the electronic, vocal-cut, pop-rock vibe was already covered well enough through songs like ‘Crave’ and ‘Pink’, so we chose ‘Territory’ strictly because it had a different feel than anything else from that release.”
