Hold’em – “Bender” [Free Song Download]
Mixing rock with hardcore and a Southern flair, Hold’em play what they’ve dubbed “Grease Rock” and man, does that hold true. One spin of our free download of the song “Bender” and you’ll get it!
Influenced by “Alcohol” and referring to themselves and their music by simply stating “Everyone has that favourite drunken uncle,” London, Ontario, Canada’s rock quartet, Hold’em, are loud, greasy and totally bad-ass! Mixing rock with hardcore and a Southern flair, the band – J Dukes (vocals), Don Johnson (drums), Barber (bass, vocals), and Quincy Jones (guitar) – play what they’ve dubbed “Grease Rock” and man, does that hold true. One spin of our free download of the song “Bender” and you’ll get it!
Released on February 4, 2016, “Bender” is Hold’em newest song. It was recorded by members Taylor Lucas and Quinton Strutt in the band’s own jam space and while Taylor also mixed the tune, it was mastered by Scott Hull. Originally going by the name Texas Hold’em, the group reformed with a new lineup and Hold’em was born. Good thing too, ’cause we want us MORE music ASAP!
