Ugly Love – “No Model” [Song Review]
“No Model”, the debut single from Tunbridge Wells rockers Ugly Love sees them smash together a cocktail of pop, punk and rock to create a rather fun four minutes. With a hook the size of an elephant, their sound is one that will instantly get your foot tapping or, should you catch them live, have you nodding along with your pint.

They’ve toured with everyone from Fearless Vampire Killers to Lost Alone and, musically, probably sit somewhere right between the two with enough about their sound to appeal to both sets of fans. They call it punk-pop but there is definitely more to it than that. Sure it’s got the hooks of the pop scene and the modern punk scene, but it’s done with a sneer, a smile and a sackful of rock attitude making them definitely ones to watch in the coming twelve months.
