Museum Mouth – “Blood Mountain” [Free Download]

Museum Mouth is a band from Southport, North Carolina with a knack for catchy, indie punk rock. The group released its debut in 2010 called Tears In My Beer, an excitable-sounding record that bawled with rawness and youthful innocence. In the two years since the release of Tears In My Beer, Museum Mouth have toured tirelessly and worked on their craft to mature their sound and progress their musicianship. The new record dubbed Sexy But Not Happy illustrates this hard work that the band has put into developing its sound.

The Skinny: Museum Mouth is a band from Southport, North Carolina with a knack for catchy, indie punk rock.

For Sexy But Not Happy, drummer Karl Kuehn has assumed full vocal duties after getting lots of practice in his new wave side project SWTHRT. This has provided a lot more personality to the sound of Museum Mouth and the natural maturing in sound. As a sample of the new album, we’re happy to offer ya’ll a free download of Southport, North Carolina trio indie rock/pop trio Museum Mouth’s new song “Blood Mountain”. The track is taken from the band’s latest record Sexy But Not Happy which was released on January 23rd.
