What one piece of equipment do you use to obtain your signature sound?
Paul: I use an SM58 for live sound. It’s is hands down the most used vocal mic for live shows by most bands.
What about it makes it so important to you?
Paul: It’s the standard for a reason. When performing live, dependability and sound quality are key.
What are the major pros and cons?
Paul: Pro: it gives a great tone and can take a beating. You just can’t beat it’s Durability and value. Cons: would make a great cod piece, but the screen gets caught in my pubes and chafes my inner thigh.
How long have you used this piece of equipment and would you ever change it?
Paul: I think I’ve tried every other handheld. I’m always open to try new handhelds but right now nothing beats the “58”.
Any final thoughts or comments on the gear?
Paul: Great quality for the price no matter what style you sing.
