Finally, the wait is over! Ohio’s masters of blackened thrash, Skeletonwitch’s ‘Breathing The Fire,’ is in stores everywhere today! The follow up to the critically acclaimed ‘Beyond the Permafrost,’ was recorded in Seattle WA by producer Jack Endino (High On Fire, Nirvana, Soundgarden). For a list of places to order the record, go HERE.

Guitarist Scott Hedrick commented, “Our new record “Breathing the Fire” came out today as well! Pick up a copy and bang your fucking head!! Or just listen to it and smoke some weed….whatever you’re feeling.”

Prosthetic has also launched a pre-order for the second pressing of vinyl (in orange and white) at their official store. The video for the track “Repulsive Salvation” is up now courtesy of Metal Sucks. It was filmed by David Brodsky (The Black Dahlia Murder, Suicide Silence, Gwar) at Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn last month. Check out its premiere HERE.

Hedrick added, “It’s a bare bones Witch shred fest in a bar. It’s basically what we do 8 months out if the year on the road. Amps and hair!! A lot beers went into the making of this video. Good thing I didn’t have to play for real! Haha!!”

The album is streaming in its entirety at www.myspace.com/metal.

The band kicks off a tour tonight in San Diego supporting The Black Dahlia Murder along with Toxic Holocaust and Trap Them. They then head to Europe for a co-headline run with Goatwhore and Toxic Holocaust.

“A sincere thanks to everyone for the support. Come see us while we’re out on the road w/ The Black Dahlia Murder, Toxic Holocaust, and Trap Them,” said Hedrick.
