Metallic Post-Hardcore Trio DENIALIST Announce Their Arrival with “Conspirers” [Exclusive Premiere]
Sometimes you just need to get freaking angry! Fittingly, we’re debuting the banger of a lead single, “Conspirers”, from new post-hardcore trio, Denialist.
Sometimes you just need to get freaking angry! Sometimes you need that quick swell of energy to blast you through the obstacle in your way. Well, this notion is clearly alive and well in the minds of the members of new post-hardcore trio, Denialist. A ferocious mix of hardcore and metal, the band — which consists of Joshua Snow (ex-He is Legend), Tyler Demorest (New Language), and Brandon Whalen (My Body Sings Electric) — is not just about brazen brutality, though. The lyrics, for instance, are insightful, loaded with social commentary and critiques of various current concerns.
Fittingly, with the song out tomorrow via all major DSPs, we’re debuting the banger of a lead single “Conspirers”, which “…takes aim at the hypocrisy surrounding mass shootings, serving as an ode to our collective inaction while a new attack happens every few months.” Taken from the upcoming Mike Major-mixed and produced EP, the song is a perfect example of the recording’s overall sound and vibe. More music and the first string of live performances to be announced soon.
Commenting on the release of “Conspirers”, Brandon Whalen noted: “This band has been a much needed outlet for me to express the frustration and anger I’ve been feeling about the current state of society. The lyrics to this song were written months before the Las Vegas or Florida shootings, and they have become even more relevant and necessary over time.”
