Legendary British band, The Damned have released a stream for “Procrastination” from their new album Evil Spirits. This is the band’s first new record in a decade now.
“The song came together by accident really,” explained keyboardist Monty Oxy Moron. “I sent Captain (Sensible) the basic tune with some lyrics, but it didn’t have a chorus at that point; magically it all fitted with a totally separate instrumental piece that he had and it all slotted together perfectly!”
“Regarding the lyrics, I think everyone suffers from procrastination,” continued Monty. “We’re all capable of putting off the stuff we don’t want to do. I was in Glastonbury recently and got myself a T-shirt that sums it all up quite nicely; ‘procrastinators of the world unite…tomorrow!”
