Canadian reggae rockers, Big Sugar, and openers Daylight For Deadeyes, were in town last Friday at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. Talk about keeping it in the family! Opening the evening was Daylight For Deadeyes, comprised of Chris Gormley (who also happens to be Big Sugar’s drummer), along with twin brother Matt on guitar.

Frontman Gordie Johnson making a remarkable comeback from a technical glitch with his signature Gibson double neck guitar. It turned out to be quite a performance, when later on Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson joined Big Sugar to jam together on a couple of songs.
