The Skinny: Ontario rock outfit Heavy Hearts have officially joined New Damage’s expanding roster that includes Silverstein, Cancer Bats, The Flatliners, Counterparts and more. Heavy Hearts is also thrilled to unveil their latest self-titled EP, which drops today through New Damage Records worldwide. Heavy Hearts is the follow up to the band’s 2013 debut EP Somewhere, A While Ago.
Recorded in 2015 with Sam Guaiana (Like Pacific, Coldfront), on Heavy Hearts the band pulls from the golden days of 2000’s emo punk and ’90s alternative rock to create 4 new tracks with effects-laden guitars, hooky vocals and a fuller, more refined sound than their previous release.
