Zak Bagans vs. Praga Khan – “NecroFusion”
Zak Bagans, host of the television show ‘Ghost Adventures’, has teamed up with Lords of Acid’s Praga Khan to create one of the more interesting discs I have heard. Part industrial/electronic, part paranormal documentary, NecroFusion is truly unique.

On the music side of things there’s a ton of electro groove/dub step rhythms provided by Praga Khan that are sure to entertain and get your body moving in no time. Where this disc differs from anything else I have heard however, is the inclusion of dialogue between Bagans and the dearly departed. Every track is essentially a dialogue with the dead set to music. It’s an interesting, at times eerie combination that gave me goose bumps on more than one occasion.
For me, the most interesting tune is “Room 20”; a song in which Bagans travels to the hotel room in Las Vegas where the actor David Strickland took his life more than a decade ago. According to the bio, the voices that can be heard on the track are Bagans’ communicating with the spirit of Strickland; more than enough to stand the hair up on my arms. I would definitely recommend checking this one out. It’s unique, unbelievably original and extremely entertaining!
